Hybriditilassa 508 vaihtelee voimanlähteiden välillä huomaamattomasti. Täyskaasulla suorituskyky on riittävää, muttei niin reipasta kuin huipputehosta voisi päätellä. Enemmän suorituskykyä kaipaavien kannattaa harkita 3008 Hybrid4 -mallia, tai odottaa tulevaa nelivetoista 508 Peugeot Sport -mallia. Pientä parannettavaa Enemmän sanomista tulee jarrutuntumasta. Polkimen liike on epäjohdonmukainen, sillä alkuun säädetään energian talteenottoa ja vasta syvempi painallus siirtyy levyjarrupuolelle. Järjestelmällä pärjää, mutta se vaatii hieman enemmän tottumista kuin toivoisi. Toivottavasti Peugeot tekee vielä hienosäätöä. Toinen korjauskehotus menee auton alustaan. Juuri mukava kyyti on tavallisen 508:n vahvuuksia, mutta Hybrid-mallia vaivaa yhdistelmä hienoista pintakovuutta ja laajoja koriliikkeitä. Kahden hengen kuormalla ajettaessa hidastetöyssy aiheutti reilun ulosjouston, jonka vastaheilahduksena perä pohjasi ja tavaratilan verho aukesi.
